Sleeping Bags for Girls

There are certainly plenty of reasons why the average girl would need the best sleeping bag. Perhaps she's off to a pajama party or maybe off to one of the latest music festivals such as Glastonbury, and believe it or not there are some that actually enjoy camping and hiking. 

There are certainly but these would be chosen on esthetics, perhaps the color or even one with their favorite boy band on it, while the aesthetic part maybe ok for the sleep over party, the girl who's more serious about the outdoor hobby's will be much more concerned with the design of the sleeping bag itself.

Indoor Sleeping Bags for Girls

Indoor sleeping bags often referred to as slumber bags are a dime a dozen and very easy to get hold of these would be an ideal choice for children. These are not usually designed for outside use and therefore more than likely will not be water proof, these would be made of a cheaper material but ideal for when relations come to visit and you have run out of beds, this is where the children get to have fun in their slumber bags.

For the girl who is more serious about her sleeping bag would be interested in these. There are four temperature rating in Europe the EN13537 standard normalizes these temperature ratings.

There is the upper limit. This is the highest temperature that the average man is able to have good night's sleep without excessive sweating.

Then there's the comfort rating, this is based on the standard average women having a good night's sleep

The lower limit is next; this is based on the lowest temperature on which the average standard man is able to have a comfortable night's sleep.

Then we get the extreme rating, this is used for survival only.

If the is to be used outdoors you will definitely be needing a water proof bag and I would choose at least a three season for camping in the autumn or fall and choose one that has a low temperature rating, if for example you were to choose one that has a temperature rating of 0c then you should keep warm in that temperature. Most of the indoor sleeping bags for girls don't have this sort of rating. But please use your common sense when choosing your sleeping bag, if you feel the cold more than others I would choose a four seasons sleeping bag, then you will be sure of remaining nice and toasty.

There are a lot of cute sleeping bags for girls that are available for purchase. Most that have princesses or other popular designs are made for indoor use, but you may be able to find some summer bags with characters on them. Most that are designed for outdoors or cold weather do not have cartoon characters on them.
